| Marcia Braswell (Music Director) Marcia is happy to be a part of the production team for “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” and to be working with such a talented cast, crew and creative team. Marcia retired in 2008 after teaching K-12 Vocal Music in Valmeyer Community Unit 3 for 35 years. However, she continues to teach private piano, to conduct three choirs at St John UCC in Maeystown, to operate the Corner George Inn Bed and Breakfast with her husband David, and to participate in community theatre. Marcia is on the Board of Directors for Monroe Actors Stage Company in Waterloo and is the director of the Valmeyer Community Chorus. Community theatre credits since retirement include serving as Music Director for “Pippin” and “Smoke on the Mountain” with MASC, “Peace in the Valley” for Valmeyer’s Centennial, and “Guys and Dolls” with BRP in 2011. In her spare time, Marcia enjoys antiques and spending time with her family and friends, David, and their funny little dachsund, Peanut. Many thanks to Matt, Stacey, Donna, the BRP board, and this amazing cast and crew for much “Happiness” during “Charlie Brown”! Have fun! |

Marcia Braswell (Music Director) Marcia is excited to be the music director for the Brass Rail Players production of "Guys and Dolls"-one of her favorite musicals-and to be working in the Lindenwood Auditorium (the old Belleville West) where her husband David was in productions in high school. Marcia retired three years ago from teaching K-12 Vocal and General Music for 35 years in the Valmeyer school district where she produced 37 high school musicals. In addition to being owner of the Corner George Inn B&B in Maeystown, she currently teaches private piano, is Director of Music at St John UCC in Maeystown, and has enjoyed working with community theatre since retirement. Her recent shows include co-authoring the original libretto for "Peace in the Valley," with Dennis Knobloch, for Valmeyer’s Centennial, and being music director for "Pippin" and "Smoke on the Mountain" at MASC in Waterloo. Many thanks to Lynn and Donna for giving her the opportunity to work with the talented cast of "Guys and Dolls." You are all great!
