He has acted in dozens of plays, has directed several, and has been involved with various others throughout the years working on the set, lighting, etc. Matt has been involved with The Brass Rail Players for two years. Some of the roles you may remember Matt in are, Benny Southstreet in “Guys And Dolls,” Jonathan Harker in “The Passion Of Dracula.” He received a MASC Patron’s Choice Award for his portrayal as Perry Lascoe in “Waiting in The Wings.” In the last two years, Matt has had the opportunity to play 13 very different characters and direct two wonderful productions. Most recently, he played Arthur Townsend in “The Heiress” at MASC. Matt lives and works in Waterloo. In his spare time, he enjoys painting commissioned pieces and murals. Matt would like to thank Warren for choosing him for such a hilarious role, the cast and crew for another top-notch show, his parents for their support and the loyal BRP patrons for giving him the chance to do something I love to do.

Matt lives and works in Waterloo. He would like to thank the board of directors for choosing him to direct one of his favorite shows, his parents for their unending support, his family and friends for understanding why he is so busy, his creative team (Marcia, Stacey and Donna) for all of their help throughout the process and BRP’s loyal patrons. It’s because of you that we get to do something we all love doing.
