Melissa Mckean (Lighting director, Set crew, Make-up crew) isn’t new to the theater scene. She has been acting and doing tech on shows since 4th grade. Some well-known productions she has been a part of are Finian’ s Rainbow, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, High School Musical, and Godspell. This past summer, Melissa was a part of The Brass Rail Players first production, The Wedding Singer. She completed 2 years of college with a focus on music. Melissa would like to double major in Theater and Music with possible minors in Psychology and Film. She is currently taking a break from school as she prepares for her wedding and a move to North Carolina. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their support. She would also like to thank this great cast and crew for all their hard work and time. Finally , she has to give a big thanks and shout out to her fiancé, Travis Beaupre, for his support and the work he has done being in his first production.

Melissa Mckean (Ensemble) isn’t new to the theater scene. She has been acting and doing tech on shows since 4th grade. Some well-known productions she has been a part of are "Finian’s Rainbow," "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "High School Musical," and "Godspell." She completed two years of college with a focus on music. Melissa has decided to take a leave from college and join the U.S. Army. She is going to continue to sing while serving and hopefully be able to find some time for a little acting. Once she’s completed her time, she plans to go back to school. Melissa would like to double major in theater and music, with possible minors in psychology and film. Thanks to all my friends and family who are supporting me. And thanks to this amazing cast for making this part of my summer as good as it’s been!
